Every year, thousands of military personnel are disabled in service to our country and are processed for Medical Retirements, Medical Separation, and/or Retention through the Disability Evaluation System (DES); however, the Military separates hundreds of veterans prior to delivering a satisfactory resolution to their disability determination. Disabled, unemployed, and abandoned by the military – these veterans often lack the funds to hire private attorneys to appeal their case. The Warriors' Lawyer is the only certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a laser-focused mission of improving DES outcomes for our nation’s disabled Service Members and Veterans.
