Literary arts organisation based in Scotland's national book town. We run the Wigtown Book Festival each autumn; a 10 day festival bringing a renowned cast of authors to the idyllic landscape of Galloway. Our projects include writer development for the region, the Wigtown Poetry Prize and the Anne Brown Essay Prize. Also incorporating Big DoG, our subdivision for Education and Young People, which oversees the Big DoG Children's Book Festival, the BigWig programme and the Big DoG School's Tour. We run Number 11, our year-round festival bookshop and The Open Book, an Airbnb experience in which visitors can run their own bookshop.
