In 2007 LightCo opened its doors to the design community as a distributor of top quality luxury lighting brands from Europe. Today LightCo has the sole distribution rights for a number of top brands from across the world and is constantly working with the suppliers to ensure they produce and deliver only the best products into the Australian market. LightCo takes the environment seriously. Energy efficiency is a major factor in selecting new products. If a brand or product does not meet LightCo's strict efficiency standards, it will not make it into the selection of “Luxury Lighting Brands” found on this website. After setting up a highly efficient distribution network with key agents and retailers across the country, it was not long before the industry started adopting these brands and using them in many projects. In April 2016, we have opened a bespoke 220m2 lighting showroom in the heart of Alexandria’s design precinct. Featuring products from 15 different international lighting suppliers, we have curated a beautiful display experience never seen before in Australian lighting showrooms. We have implemented an interactive customer experience allowing the visitor to isolate smaller groups or individual fixtures to understand the true effect as well as to be able to view products non illuminated. This is all done by the simple push of a button. Our showroom is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and on Saturday’s from 10am to 2pm.
