New to our line-up in 2021, as the exclusive importer to Japan, we are excited to release soon the Frederikstal range of cherry wines from Denmark to Japan. These world-class 100% Danish fruit wines are produced the same way grape wines but using Stevns cherries, which have grown in Denmark for generations. The first and so far only cherry specialist winery in the world, the team at Frederikstal succeeded in producing wine made from cherries but using traditional winemaking principles, where the wine will ferment freely and then mature in oak vats. Starting in 2006, the goal was to be the best producer of cherry wines in the world. Now exceeding this, they now want to continue to achieve an unparalleled high-quality wine tasting experience. Essential for enjoying wines over a long period of time, New York Wine Traders also coordinates the distribution and selling of Repour Wine Saver into the Japanese market. This wine plug, when opened and pressed into the neck of an opened bottle of wine, absorbs the oxygen in any remaining space and also any oxygen which might have interacted with the wine.
