Shelter Revolution is an advocacy effort. We are not an animal shelter or rescue group. We have done that. We learned. We mastered. Now our mission is simple: pass on our knowledge and experience FOR FREE. We are here to help others change. In every community we see rescue groups and shelters tripping over each other doing the same work and competing for limited resources. Our desire is to end this redundancy and unite each rescue community. Further, our industry must learn to treat dogs and cats as the SOCIAL animals they say they are. This requires moving away from isolation in any form. Our companion animals need more than prisons. They need our solution called the Adoption Center model. Our greatest challenge is overcoming old attitudes formed over 100 years. We need a whole new model, a true paradigm shift.
