The Comprehensive Center Companies are community-based facilities, the first of which was established in 1999, where we strive to provide a comprehensive array of remedial services to children with developmental delays. Mission Our early childhood program is built on the philosophy that all children can learn. We strive to identify the strengths and interests of each individual child. This information allows us to create an exciting learning environment designed to enable the children to reach their maximum potential. A highly individualized and personalized teaching approach is utilized in meeting students’ needs through a wide range of enjoyable and educational activities. Our language and literacy-based curriculum addresses each child’s IEP while assisting them toward mastery of the New York State Learning Standards for Early Childhood. Our staff members are dedicated professionals who provide a wide range of learning opportunities to allow children to develop and grow. All of our learning centers are designed as interactive environments where children are encouraged to become independent and develop an understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism and diversity. Our goal is to provide special education and therapy in an environment most suitable for the child and in a manner so as to improve their current level of functioning and allow them to achieve their greatest potential.
