Rwanda Polytechnic - IPRC Tumba (IPRC-Tumba) is a dynamic and forward-looking College; pioneering a fresh approach to technology education coupled with vibrant career development services to students in Rwanda. By leveraging hands-on skills, and professionalism in working environments, IPRC-Tumba's mission is to produce highly qualified technical human resources with requisite entrepreneurship mindsets. IPRC-Tumba was established in 2007 under the cabinet decision to produce a highly skilled workforce to meet the 21st-century industrial technology and social needs in Rwanda and beyond. At IPRC-Tumba, we offer A1 Accredited Diploma courses in Renewable Energy (RE), Electronic and Telecommunication (ET), and the Information Technology (IT). Our curriculum is modeled in collaboration with the Technical Advisory Group (TAG), which is composed of experts from high ranking industries and academics. It is industry-led. JICA experts from Japan and the third world countries like Nepal and Indonesia also added unique values to our curriculum. The strength of our graduates lies in their practical hands-on skills, which can be applied on the first day at the working place. Under our two-and-half-year school curricula, we conduct Industrial Attachment (internship) as a primary component to enable our students to explore their learnings with top institutions. During this experience, students learn not only technical skills but also right working attitudes and ethical social manners.
