At Empire State English we help non-native English speakers achieve their personal, professional and academic goals in English through quality teaching in a welcoming school environment. Our students are actively engaged learners and we inspire them to embrace English in the classroom and out in the community. Our instructors are facilitators, guiding students to understand their own learning styles and become life-long learners. Empire State English is an English as a Second Language (ESL) School serving global clients and students from New York’s Capital Region and abroad. We have two locations. One is conveniently located just off of Route 87, the Northway, in Colonie, just a few miles from Albany International Airport. Our second location is in downtown Saratoga Springs. We are just a few hours from New York City, Boston and Montreal. Empire State English is a Woman-Owned Businesses that is locally owned and operated. At Empire State English our goal is to help you improve your English. Each prospective student takes a placement test and is placed with other students at the same level. Our class sizes are very small, allowing for significant verbal practice while also focusing on correct grammar, refining pronunciation and helping you gain confidence in your new language. Empire State English is licensed by the New York State Education Department, accredited by CEA, and approved by the federal government to accept international students.
