CalCC’s programs are designed to help non-native speakers of English master the conventions of Academic English for both college and university level education. By taking ESL courses at CalCC, students learn how to meet the high standards demanded by the academic community and professional workplace. The Professional and Conversational ESL programs support their personal growth and development. Our alumni have transferred to various local universities and colleges such as: San Jose State University, University of California Santa Cruz Extension, San Francisco State University, and San Jose City, De Anza, and West Valley Colleges. Our school offers small class sizes for individual attention and our prices are affordable. International students improve their English skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary development. The classes are offered in the morning and in the afternoon. CalCC Language Programs are nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training, ACCET, which is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency. With one of the best climates in the country, the Bay Area is famous for its year-round sunshine, cosmopolitan entertainment life with international restaurants, theaters, museums, night clubs, world class concerts, sporting events and amusement parks.
