Phoebe Coleman was founded in 2010 in London. The company started as a wholesale jewellery company specialising in 18 carat gold plated and silver jewellery inspired by nostalgic motifs, romance, friendship, family and resilience. The designs were delicate, detailed and personal, which was a huge shift from the perspex and multi material designs on the market at the time. The company exhibited at London and Paris fashion weeks and grew to include global stockists including department stores in Japan, China, Norway and Italy along with a John Lewis partnership and exclusive collection Phoebe Coleman for John Lewis. In 2015, Phoebe was nominated finalist Jewellery Designer of the Year and launched her engagement and wedding which is the focus of the collection today. This has recently evolved to include a birthstone ring collection and designs which celebrate lifetime milestones in precious metals and gemstones. The business is direct to consumer and the direct contact with customers is of utmost importance to Phoebe. Phoebe makes most of the jewellery herself and has long standing partnerships with premium stone suppliers, diamond setters and polishers with decades of experience based in Hatton Garden. She is passionate about sourcing beautiful and unusual gemstones including high grade diamonds, sapphires and emeralds to make unique jewellery with craftsmanship, premium service and quality of materials are at the heart of the business. The goal is to create personal and empowering jewellery, comfortable enough to be worn everyday and durable enough to be passed on to generations to come.
