The Vermont Property Group was formed in 2005 by its principals, Greg Baron and David Eyre, to provide real estate investments for private capital through the acquisition, development and management of commercial real estate in Western Canada. Since its inception in 2005, Vermont has acquired over $275 million worth of property in Western Canada. The most recent acquisition was the purchase of a 17 building 625,000 square foot industrial portfolio located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. At present, Vermont's portfolio comprises over 1,200,000 square feet of industrial, office and retail space valued in excess of $150 million.
