Traffik Analysis Hub

Traffik Analysis Hub (TA Hub) is a unique collaboration between STOP THE TRAFFIK, IBM and Clifford Chance LLP. It was born out of a cross-sector scoping in the Spring of 2017 and these conversations involved a number of key stakeholders from Academia, Law Enforcement Agencies, NGOs and Business and Financial Institutions, all of whom faced challenges and were frustrated by the lack of information and knowledge regarding the scale and nature of human trafficking. Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery is the most widespread and rapidly increasing crime in the world. Globally, slavery generates as much as $150bn per annum, with an estimated 40.3 million people currently being exploited. TA Hub is a revolutionary initiative aimed at disrupting Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery. We believe that by creating a platform of insights into the human trafficking network, we can build an ever-growing picture of its system and disrupt the business of trafficking. We have provided a secure place in which to store and analyse this information in order to build the richest data source of trafficking to date. TA Hub is a cross-sector initiative with the aim of providing a truly global and comprehensive source of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery data. It provides a safe and non-competitive space for Academia, Law Enforcement Agencies, NGOs and Business and Financial Institutions including Multi-lateral Entities and Policy Makers, to share data in a single store which enables each participant to gain a highly accessible insight and analysis tailored to their requirement. The resulting map-based analysis will enable each participant to do what is necessary, within their own context, in order to undermine the economic fundamentals of the traffickers. TA Hub already has the richest database of stories on human trafficking and exploitation globally and only by working together, can we make a real and lasting impact on a global scale.
