Spare Space Taxis Ltd provides an online search and booking web application that enables people to book the empty or 'Spare Space' in taxis. Spare Space Taxis has three main objectives: - to enable people to book cheap taxi fares by utilising the space in empty vehicles; - to enhance the profitability and efficiency of taxi companies; and - to help reduce the carbon footprint of road transport. With over 300,000 licensed taxi and private hire vehicles in the UK and nearly all travelling empty somewhere at some point we have a lot of ground to cover.
