Calmer Kids is a social enterprise run by sisters Michelle Cole and Helen Boniface. Together we draw on 26 years of teaching and school leadership experience combined with yoga and mindfulness expertise. Stressed out kids can't learn; the science proves it. Calmer Kids trains teachers to calm the chaos, shows children how to calm themselves and supports parents to continue the calm at home. Supporting self-regulation development in children is an investment in later success. Calmer Kids' long term vision is a world where wellbeing and self-care strategies are taught to all children from an early age, as a preventative rather than a curative approach to mental health.
