TEK Military Seating LTD has been formed to support our military customers worldwide with cost effective tried and tested military products which offer improved functionality, ergonomics and serviceability and unrivalled through-life support. TEK Military Seating is part of TEK Seating Ltd, the largest independent supplier of vehicle seating in the UK. As our reputation for quality and cost effectiveness grew, military customers approached us to develop solutions for vehicles operating in extreme environments. To consolidate this we created ‘TEK Military Seating’ and are now involved with most land platforms and increasing our activity with the UK MOD, particularly DE&S and Defence Support Group and primes. Today’s product range includes hundreds of options including suspension seating, static seating and specialist seating for all types of vehicles suitable for Drivers, Commanders and Crew, plus related items such as covers and blast matting. This is supported by in-house engineering and development (along with major OEM partnerships), which enables TEK Military to offer cost effective solutions much broader than most ‘niche suppliers.’ Recent seat developments include ‘ProTEK™’ - a blast attenuating seat family designed to meet the demands of frontline light skinned and armoured vehicles, ultimately increasing survivability rates and saving lives.
