Incorporated in 2011, Geovoxel is a service company for underground mapping. We use Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to identify underground structure. The GPR is a geophysical method that utilizes radar pulses to make 3D images of the subsoil and provide information regarding location of buried structures and subsoil layers. The GPR can be used to investigate the internal composition of many naturally occurring materials such as rocks, earth, and gravel, as well as synthetic materials such as concrete, brick and asphalt, etc. It can also be used to detect metallic and non-metallic pipes, sewers, cables, cable ducts, voids, foundations, steel reinforcement in concrete and a whole host of other buried objects. The GPR has the advantage of not disturbing the site and can usually be done quickly with a very cost effective compared to the cost of excavation.
