In 2014 the company experienced the first layer adhesion problem first hand and came up with a novel smart adhesive Magigoo, that sticks when hot and releases when cold. Thought3D produces and sells 3D printing adhesives under the brand Magigoo and Magigoo PRO. Products are suggested and used by many well known 3d printing hardware manufacturers. Magigoo is sold worldwide through a network of resellers and industry partners. Award winning products include adhesives for commonly used plastics like PLA, ABS, HIPS, PETG, and professional adhesives for engineering plastics like Polypropylene, Polyamide (Nylon), Polycarbonate, Flexible materials and High Temperature Materials. Since 2018 Thought3D is also offering custom adhesive development, adhesion print profile optimisation and supporting services to well known stakeholders in 3D printing industry
