Conway Interfaith Clinic
www.conwayinterfaithclinic.orgConway Interfaith Clinic was founded in 2003 to provide access to medical and dental services to individuals and families in Faulkner County without access. According to statistics released by the U.S. Census Bureau in 2010, over 17,000 people in Faulkner County live and work at or beneath the poverty level. We've served close to 10,000. The clinic grew out of the concern of a small group from the First United Methodist Church in Conway, Arkansas in late 2001 over the health care situation in Faulkner County. This group grew by including interested citizens from other denominations and formed a working group to explore the creation of a health clinic. The inter-denominational group visited and studied other community clinics in Memphis, Heber Springs, Mountain Home, El Dorado, Springdale, and Little Rock.
