Kingwood Women’s Club, a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 1985 in Kingwood, Texas, a suburb of Houston, with the goal of providing volunteers for performing service through various community organizations. KWC, which now has 165 active members, has exceeded its original goal and has been able to add generous donations to local philanthropic organizations as part of its community service. Since its inception in 1985, Kingwood Women’s Club has donated a total of $1,231,433 to organizations in the Kingwood and Humble, Texas areas. It should be noted that KWC is an all-volunteer organization.
