JET provide specialist one to one advice and support to members of the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) community, including the long term settled community, refugees, asylum seekers and migrants receiving benefits. JET delivers a training package which includes: Motivational training, ESOL focused Employment Skills Package which includes cultural differences in the workplace, Sector Specific Language Training (ie ESOL for Care), Travel Challenge to encourage use of public transport and orientation, as well as basic ESOL, IT, Refugees into Teach Programme, CV Sessions, Employer Events, Workplacement and Volunteering opportunities. Clients do NOT need to have English as a Second Language to access the service.
