Next Kraftwerke Benelux aggregates decentralized renewable generation and flexible demand in a virtual power plant in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg. We valorize the energy on the relevant markets but most importantly we offer the virtual plant’s flexibility to the grid operators in order to support him in running the power system. By doing so we generate new income streams for the pool participants and at the same time we minimise the risk for blackouts.
