Southside Survivor Response Center, Inc. (SSRCenter) is an independent nonprofit agency providing comprehensive services to victims of sexual and domestic violence primarily in the City of Martinsville, Henry and Patrick counties in the southside region of Virginia. Services include: Emergency Shelter, 24 hour Helpline, community and court based advocacy, and primary prevention programs that teach social and emotional skills to youth, and suicide prevention education to the community. SSRCenter's Helpline in addition to providing live and local information and referrals, is a network member of the RAINN National Sexual Abuse Hotline and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
