Provide mining impact expertises on tropical lagoons. Current research conducted in partnership with IRD, IFREMER and the financial support of CNRT-Nickel, concerns: - The development of new analytical methodologies to provide high quality data. In particular, a considerable amount of research is currently being carried out on the use of passive samplers for the determination of dissolved metals in waters. - The development of new bio-indicators of pressure relating to the pollutant load (metals, other chemicals…) on the environment through the study of bio-accumulators.
