The European Consumer Centre Ireland is a member of the European Consumer Centre Network, which offers consumers across the European Union advice on their rights when shopping in another European state. ECC-Net members cooperate closely to help settle complaints between consumers and traders based in different EU countries, as well as  in Norway, Iceland and the United Kingdom. If necessary, ECC Ireland can liaise directly with a trader via its sister centre in the country of purchase. ECC Ireland provides the following services: Information, advice, education and outreach programmes.  Legal assistance in solving your cross-border consumer disputes with a trader based in another European Union Member State, Norway, Iceland and the United Kingdom. Referral to an Alternative Dispute Resolution body, if we cannot solve your dispute.  Research on issues of consumer interest to raise awareness on emerging trends among policy makers and consumers.  Feedback to the European Commission and national stakeholders.
