Greater Boston's official sports commission is a non-profit public/private partnership between the City of Boston, the Commonwealth of MA, the ownership and executives of all Boston area pro teams/venues and numerous corporate and community leaders. The Greater Boston Sports Partnership, Inc. was established to attract world-class events to the region, enhance existing sports initiatives and develop health and wellness programs that positively impact the local economy and community.
