Zircle
www.zircle.co.ukAre you struggling to diagnose loudspeaker circuit issues, do you feel exposed and unprepared when called out to a problem PAVA system? Over half the issues you’ll encounter relate to the 100 Volt loudspeaker circuits. Without an impedance meter you will struggle to identify the problem and will lack confidence in your diagnosis. This makes you look and feel unprofessional and if you’re diagnosis is flawed your client may not be happy to pay those erroneous repair costs; it also taints your company’s reputation. OUR STORY Most fire techs get sent to deal with sound systems armed only with their trusted digital multimeter. As a secondary tool for sound systems the multi meter is very useful, but being able to measure the loudspeaker circuit impedance makes the diagnosis both quicker and more useful. We’d recommend our clients buy an impedance meter but when we were asked to suggest one, we struggled. What was available was either developed decades ago, complex to use or pricey and sometimes all three. SO PROAUDIUM CREATED THE ZIRCLE ProAudium provides a complete technical support service for Fire companies. We help them win and grow their PAVA business. We offer systems and acoustic design help, commissioning and maintenance services and training so they can do more in-house. Working closely with our fire and security contractors it was clear their field techs needed a simple and accurate test tool. The Zircle is the result, providing those front line techs with a tool they can use for call outs, maintenance, installation, fault finding and commissioning. We wanted Zircle to be simple to use, accurate and reasonably priced. But most importantly it should be designed specifically for field techs working on PAVA and other 100 Volt sound systems. The name Zircle is comes from the letters and symbols related to measuring the impedance: Z = Impedance I = Current R = Resistance C = Capacitance L = Inductance E = Energy or Power also Electromotive Force (EMF)
