Ormeau All Stars FC
www.ormeaufc.comThe Club was founded in 2013 by a group of parents who saw the need for a local soccer club in the community. With local council support, they took over an abandoned baseball field on Norfolk Park and turned it into Ormeau All Stars Football Club. Starting with 150 players in teams ranging from Under 6 to Under 12, the Club has expanded to over 400 players, 40 teams and a group of Committee and volunteers who are dedicated to providing a fun, family-friendly and community-focused football Club. Since it’s very basic beginnings the Club has made improvements to the small demountable Clubhouse, added field lights, irrigated and re-turfed two main fields, added spectator stands, and an equipment compound. Each year the Committee focuses on improving certain areas of the Club with 2019’s focus being Coach and Player development. With the assistance of Gold Coast City Council, the Club plans to expand its facilities over the next two Seasons with a new Clubhouse, change rooms, amenities and more parking. Our Mission Statement: Ormeau FC is a non-profit community Football Club whose mission is to provide football players, referees, coaches and parents with opportunities to learn, play and develop football and administrative skills regardless of age, gender or ability. The Club aims to ensure that these opportunities are granted in a safe, fun, supportive, inclusive and just manner.
