Parsnet launched on 2016 with the plan to deploy a nationwide IoT network in Iran. The company has started as the exclusive operator of the Sigfox network in Iran and operates a network based on SIGFOX technology, a Low Power Wide-Area Network with high capacity. The idea behind the collaboration of Parsnet and Sigfox is to establish an effective LPWAN communication infrastructure, in order to provide a cost-effective and simple-to-use nationwide connectivity for devices while granting a simple, fast and affordable network access for everyone who wishes to develop and implement IoT-based applications, solutions and devices. We plan to open a new chapter in Iran’s IT industry by establishing a full IoT ecosystem, and with the assistance of our regional associates in hardware manfacturing, communication infrastructure, network maintenance and support, many local databases will be created which would eventually trigger large amount of startups and unlock the unlimited potential of mass-market IoT in Iran. Parsnet's IoT network is currently operational, covering 33% of the population area. We will continue to expand our network in order to span the entire country by the spring of 2019.
