Racialized Students in Healthcare, is a new virtual program that launched during the fall of 2020. The workshops series run in our program focuses on HIV Epidemiology, Clinical Care, Legal Support, Social Work and HIV Pharmacy Care. We enroll BIPOC University/college students and recent grads from all backgrounds including; Social Work, Law, Finance, Psychology, Public Health and Biochemistry. This year we aim to implement a community engagement aspect whereby BIPOC students can volunteer at community organizations; this is to support our BIPOC students in their future careers. Our program also offers mentorship opportunities with nurse practitioners, physicians and lawyers.
