The Young Impactmakers is a community of talented young people who want to do good while doing business, either by starting their own impact business or by collaborating with organisations, working towards a better world. Founded in 2016 by Impact Hub Amsterdam and Starters4Communities, the community now exist over 2300+ young impactmakers who visited our events or are active members in our online community. YIM is led by a Taskforce consisting of 4 to 6 young people who play an active role in shaping and representing the community and organizing events. We have had several collaborations and keynote speakers, EY, FoodCabinet, Pakhuis de Zwijger, DJ100, Enactus, Jonge Klimaatbeweging, Stichting DOEN, Boiling, SYFN, and more. Our mission is to make an impact career sexy and accessible, and make it the 'new normal' for young entre- and intrapreneurs. To achieve this we create a network and active community, matchmaking events and share job opportunities. We host workshops, pitch nights & dinners every two months at the Impact Hub in Amsterdam.
