ACI Architects Inc. is based in Edmonton and has evolved from our predecessor firm ACI Architecture, incorporated in 1991. We are active across western Canada and have won awards for both design and technical excellence. Comprised of four principals and between eighteen and twenty staff, our team includes designers, intern architects, technologists, interior designers and contract administrators, delivering projects that range between $200,000 and $40,000,000 in construction value. The majority of our work is awarded through repeat clients with whom developing a relationship of trust is priority one. In Alberta our projects are located from High Level to Lethbridge – we travel weekly to service clients in all corners of the province and into B.C. and Saskatchewan. Many of the projects we undertake, whether public or private sector, are demanding and complex, often encumbered by tight budgets and strict schedule requirements. We cultivate and maintain close working relationships with several regional and national construction firms and have a proven record of cooperative joint-venture work when the unique demands of a project require non-traditional approaches to delivery. We have developed strategies to control building quality, cost and delivery and believe strongly that a key element to success is close involvement of the client as an integral part of the team. We’re not a team that works in a vacuum to develop a solution, we design and manage projects so that the client and owner have as much pride in the result and as much reward from the process as we do.
