Ecus Archaeology
www.ecus-archaeology.co.ukWith over 30 successful years as an independent heritage provider, NAA has now been incorporated into the business family of Ecus Ltd, a highly respected environmental consultancy with nationwide reach. This development draws together the considerable expertise in both organisations and substantially broadens the range of services that our existing and new clients can rely upon. Northern Archaeological Associates was founded on passion and determination in 1990 to serve planning- and development-led archaeology and to safeguard and promote the heritage of North East England. Since that time, the company’s underlying culture and motivation remained the same, and we grew into one of the largest commercial heritage and archaeology businesses in the north of England. We became part of Ecus in 2021, who are part of the wider Cura Terrae group of environmental companies, whose mission is to take care of the Earth. As part of Ecus Archaeology we have a team of more than 60 highly trained archaeological specialists across the UK including planning and buildings consultants, experienced project managers and fieldwork officers, geophysicists, surveyors, CAD technicians, illustrators, and archaeological finds and paleoenvironmental staff. Our team’s expertise and dedication are reflected in our ‘right first time’ approach, and our demonstrable track record of completing projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
