We Care Foster Care’s mission is to ensure that all children in the foster care and child welfare system thrive by connecting the community’s generosity and resources with a child’s hopes and needs. We match donors of goods and services with needy foster children, foster families, and young adults aging out of the foster system in the metro Detroit. WCFC has two unique programs: Our Help Closet houses donations of clothing, furniture, electronics and more, and Play It Forward, our music program, provides free musical instruments and music lessons to metro area foster children.
