The Eastern Legal Support Trust (ELST) is a registered charity established to give financial and other support to charities and advice agencies providing free legal advice in the East of England region (comprising Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire). As there is a significant amount of unmet legal need in the region, one of the main aims of ELST is to enhance the availability of access to these services by raising funds, principally through a series of annual sponsored walks held in the major towns and cities within its geographical area.
