The Charitable Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 foundation run by real estate agents from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. With the company covering the foundation's administrative costs, virtually all of the donations go to local charities, and events are often fully underwritten by sponsors. The mission of The Charitable Foundation is to recognize that real estate agents are deeply connected to the communities in which they live and work, The Charitable Foundation gives back at the local level. The group raises funds and volunteers to make a difference in four key areas: • Community outreach and support • Education and development • Health and awareness • The environment and preservation The Foundation has chapters in San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties.
