THE ANGLING TRADES ASSOCIATION LIMITED (ATA) is focussed on the promotion and growth of the U.K. angling industry by promoting, developing and protecting the interests of the fishing tackle trade and angling in the U.K. The ATA affords manufacturers, wholesalers, the self employed and retailers of tackle and accessories for the purpose of angling, including the media and other organisations, opportunity for the interchange of views and matters generally affecting the industry. Other ATA objectives and activities are as follows but not limited to; To promote, develop and protect the interests of the fishing tackle trade. To subscribe and donate monies to any association or body for the furtherance of angling. To organise, promote and arrange for and to subscribe to and make donations for the teaching of and access to angling across all social groups.
