The University Star is the independent student media group of Texas State University. We produce news content daily on our website and publish a paper every Tuesday of the spring and fall semesters, as well as the first Tuesday of each summer session. We distribute 4,500 copies to over 30 locations on campus and throughout San Marcos. We also have a weekly email newsletter that goes directly to subscriber inboxes every Thursday.
