Louisiana Civil Justice Center (LCJC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free legal advice and information on various civil law related legal issues for low-income, elderly, and disaster-affected residents of Louisiana. We have a free legal hotline (800-310-7029) open from 9 to 4p, Monday through Friday. We also offer free legal clinics to residents in parishes across the state of Louisiana, in which community members can speak one-on-one with a volunteer or LCJC staff attorney. There is no fee for this assistance. LCJC does not provide legal representation OR information on criminal matters.
