Saint Rooster

Saintrooster originally started out as a hobby. I first and foremost was pursing a career in Hip Hop dance. Hip Hop was my primary passion and took every bit of focus I had in the busy swirling world of gigs and auditions. But when seasons were slow, I would turn to the Visual Arts to keep my creativity flowing and bright. Saintrooster, an anagram for "restorations", was really just a side thing and I never thought it would ever turn into what it is today. In 2011, a great deal of life changing events happened and I decided to make the truck across country from sunny Los Angeles to my beautiful hometown of Winston-Salem....leaving my dance career behind. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make but also one of the most rewarding. Here's a little taste of my past life for those who care to take a gander. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAuIeANzcfw My website, www.saintrooster.com, has changed quite a bit over the years. I still use the site to highlight my work, but also highlight other artist's work as well as talk about Faith. My art, whether dance or visual, is intrinsically tied to my faith, so I use my blog to discuss an arraignment of topics from doubt to inherent certainty. I also have an Etsy shop which I will keep up to date with commissions that I receive though I will no longer be shipping my pieces and will remain local. But please feel free to stop by there and show your support by "admiring". https://www.etsy.com/shop/SaintRooster I love comments and questions, so please don't hesitate to email me whether it's regarding art or faith. (saintrooster@gmail.com) Thank you! Lz
