Security Savings Bank started in 1920 in Granite, Iowa. It moved to its current headquarters in Larchwood, Iowa in 1934 and moved its charter to South Dakota in 2014. In January of 2019 Security Savings Bank merged with an area bank and now provides eight full service branches.
