IntelleCash is the first initiative in India to apply the principles of business franchising to the microfinance sector through provision of a standardized microfinance solutions package for start-up entrepreneurs and microfinance institutions (MFIs), suitably customized to meet the contextual needs of its network partner microfinance institutions. By offering standardized systems and processes for a start-up entrepreneur, IntelleCash aims to take microfinance further, faster. If the IntelleCash processes are correctly followed, its partner MFIs reach operational breakeven within twelve months of starting operations. IntelleCash’s network partners range from start-up entrepreneurs to established institutions requiring the improved structure and support that IntelleCash can provide. In each case, IntelleCash provides the tools to standardize, consolidate and scale-up operations, while preserving the independence of each partner MFI.
