Squadron 57 is senior non-profit organization under group 8 of the California Wing of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). It is comprised of aviation-minded members from all backgrounds, lifestyle and occupations. Its key mission includes Emergency Services which includes search and relief operations (by air and ground) and disaster relief; Aerospace Education for youth and the general public; and support to the Cadet Programs for teenage youth. We also perform missions for homeland security and for various governmental and private agencies such as local law enforcement and FEMA.
