At Pricecheck, we believe that a safe, secure, and private way to hand select and pay for essential products (at minimum) is a human right. To ensure this we manage a software system that runs on mobile phones and computers which organizes product information into tables according to the inventories of producers, transporters, and retailers; where specific products and transport parcels are easily identified and listed onto a digital ledger using mobile phones where secure payments and asset transfers are made safely and verifiably. Essentially, we manage an ecosystem founded on assurances of integrity which brings transparency and efficiency to the global supply chain. Ultimately, this allows customers to enter stores, scan items, checkout right on their phone, obtain a digital receipt, and trace back the journey of their item from forest, farm, or mine to the palm of their hand. The technology we utilize to serve our ecosystem is the core of our business infrastructure. The manner in which we design, develop, and release this technology is unequivocally important as compared to many other technology driven businesses because our customers have entrusted us with their money, their information, and their inventory.
