Retired Not Expired is a graduate short film coming out in Spring 2018. Desmond, an 82-year-old daring frail old man, escapes from his care home one morning to pursue a childhood promise. Struggling to come to terms with the modern world around him and no real sense of the right direction, Desmond’s journey is mapped out from his sketches which he has drawn from his fading memory. When Kelly, 20’s his care worker and close friend, discovers him missing, she decides to take it upon herself to piece together the clues he has left behind in order to find him. Through their journey they experience the distance feeling of freedom as friendships of old and new comes together.
