Nugeneration (Pty) Ltd - Electrical Engineers installs, operates and maintains rooftop solar installations for commercial and industrial properties. We have a combined 50 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Utility Management and Electricity Retail. Nugeneration Electrical Engineers specialises in electrical master planning and system analysis locally and into Africa. We use the DigSilent simulation software for all our system analyses and protection coordination studies. Nugeneration also does testing of equipment on electrical networks. We provide these services to the mining sector, municipalities and Eskom. Nugeneration was founded by Roelf Loots in 2008. He has 20 years' experience in high and medium voltage transmission and distribution networks. During this period he was actively involved as Consulting Engineer in power system planning and compilation of master plans for the Transmission system for Tshwane Electricity. In 2002 he was appointed as Managing Engineer for the Tshwane Transmission System until 2007. From 1999 to 2009 he lectured part-time in various subjects at the University of Pretoria in electrical engineering.
