Women in Philanthropy is a network of passionate women and men who are active in the social sector and who come together to connect, share, learn and collaborate, with the idea of furthering impact in the sector. At this stage the main activities undertaken by the Network are fairly informal discussion events, which are held every 6-8 weeks around a relevant topic and speaker(s). The organisation is member-run with a voluntary Steering Committee to maintain the ethos, momentum and standard. Each event is organised by a different member of the Steering Committee, who helps conceive the topic, speakers and venue. As a result, no event is the same and this keeps it interesting and stimulating for everyone.
