The Association for Development and Empowerment in Lebanon ADEL is a non-for-profit, non-secular, non-political association founded in Lebanon with the objective to build the human capital through education, development, and empowerment. Simply put, ADEL is a social, cultural & educational independent association committing itself to the betterment of humanity. ADEL is committed to the cause of providing education, training and entire empowerment that will eventually facilitate progress and support for the individual’s community and society. Garnering regional and global exposure owing to the involvement of its Board of Directors & Trustees in numerous NGOs, people-building and educational programs, ADEL is dedicated to instituting the best practices and examples to ensure the attainment of goals. Our reason for being is to foster, promote and develop the skills and qualifications needed in various educational, cultural, vocational, professional, social and economic fields. Our framework relies upon a multi-disciplinary and orientation methodology based on professionalism, Integrity, perfection, excellence and specialization in work, which are in the heart of our work and objectives. Our Objectives: - Provide the necessary means to support the children and youth in order to complete their academic and vocational educational careers. - Enhance the abilities, skills, qualifications, specialization and proficiency in various areas and professional fields. - Organize training workshops. - Promote information sharing, ensure guiding and educational resources for youth, and reinforce their involvement in the professional fields.
