Noble Missions for Change Initiative (NMI) was founded in 2005 by a young student who saw the need to mobilize students in his campus to create awareness about the dangers of premarital intercourse (especially HIV/AIDS) and use of drugs of abuse. NMI’s primary focus was raising awareness. The organization was formally registered in March 2010, and has since then transformed into a member-based organization that embarks in large scale campaigns and activities. NMI works with orphans and vulnerable children and youth in Nigeria to reduce their vulnerability and create an empowered environment to improve their quality of life. Its strategy is to use communications and networking to deliver programs and services to vulnerable Nigerian children and youth, and advocates on their behalf to ensure growth and inner strength at the individual level, which results in community transformation for a better future.
