Nuthatch Consultants

www.nuthatchconsultants.co.uk

Founded by Neil Peters. We support charities and business with suicide prevention, mental health & well-being advice. We can provide guidance, consultancy, strategy advice and project management to support your organisation. Drawing on nearly 10 years of experience of reducing suicide we are ideally placed to advise you on practices and materials to support colleagues, customers and the public, signage, training, the physical environment, procedures and other mitigation measures to help prevent a tragedy. We can help you write a suicide prevention strategy and plan for your setting, or review existing measures, drawing on the latest best practice, research and national guidelines. We can also advise on suicide prevention and trauma support training and have access to training partners. We can work with your organisation to review your in-house mental health and well-being policies and practices, and help you identify and implement tools and resources to support your staff. This might be to advise you on ensuring that your staff are equipped to maintain good mental health, or to support them in difficult situations such as working with vulnerable people or in traumatic situations. We specialise in suicide prevention and mental health advice, and have vast experience across other areas too including: working in local communities, Postvention/Post Incident Support, Strategic Partnerships, Working with Volunteers, Emotional Support, Media, Campaigns, Helplines, Stakeholder Engagement and Sport for Development. We also have access to training partners. Recent clients and assignments include National Suicide Prevention Alliance, Samaritans, Highways England, Canterbury Christchurch University, National Trust, East Sussex County Council and TackleAfrica.
