www.dressforsuccess.orgThe mission of Dress for Success Atlanta is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. In 2011, we impacted the lives of more than 2,000 women and their 3,000 dependents. These staggering numbers reflect the enormous need that Dress for Success Atlanta fills in the lives of women who struggle to build quality lives for themselves and their families. Dress for Success Atlanta offers three programs: Interview Preparation Volunteer Career Development Coaches provide interview tips, resume review or preparation, and mock interviews to each client to help build self-confidence and interview readiness. Volunteer Image Development Coaches then help the woman select professional attire for her job interviews. Once employed, the woman is invited to return for additional job-appropriate attire. Professional Women's Group (PWG) This job-retention and career advancement program helps women attain and maintain self-sufficiency by providing them with resources to help them achieve their goals. Going Places Network by Walmart Going Places Network by Walmart helps unemployed and under-employed women gain professional skills, accelerate their job search and build confidence through weekly training sessions, one-on-one career coaching and networking in a supportive environment.
